Morgan Tidd. Blog Title: "Whitewater Kayak Comic"
Morgan Tidd is a kayaker, photographer, and student at New River Academy. She paddles for
Jackson Kayak and also keeps a blog as an ambassador for
World Kayak.
Morgan hails form Northern California, where she learned whitewater kayaking basics with such kayak camps as CCK and Current Adventures. When Morgan arrived at NRA in early 2007 she could barely roll up in a current. Since then she has taken off. When Morgan isn't in her boat she likes to take photos, make comics, play frisbee, and learn languages.

I am a pretty normal 17 year old, who loves to get out of the house and do something. I ski, whitewater kayak, bike, rock climb, surf, skateboard, wakeboard, and much more.

Daniel Stewart. Blog Title: "Whitewater Traveling Video"
I'm Daniel Stewart, a student leader at New River Academy and whitewater kayak instructor for the
US National Whitewater Center.
This year I will be traveling with New River Academy and documenting our adventures as we travel the world in places such as Canada, China, Chile, and the U.S. I was also lucky enough to win a video scholarship from LVM
Sam Fulbright. Blog Title: "Kayaking Photos."
Sam Fulbright is a senior leader at New River Academy, and is in his second year traveling with the program.
The folks at NOC brought Sam up in kayaking, and really instilled a passion in him for kayaking,
particularly freestyle kayaking,
and he has been paddling non stop since. A big passion of Sam's is whitewater kayak photography. Enjoy!
Michelle Yates. Blog Title: "Across The Globe."
Michelle is the two-time winner of the
American Whitewater Academic Scholarship. As a student leader Michelle is the kayak school editor/manager of student media publications.
Michelle previously participated in the prestigious Otterbar Kayak program.

Matthew West
Matthew began paddling on his local river, the Saluda, with the "Saludayakerz"
and with the PEAK program at his school before New River Academy.
Snapdragon recently published one of his whitewater kayak photographs.

I’m Tyson Rowley. I live in Maui, Hawaii. This year I will be traveling to Canada, China, and Chile with The New River Academy, taking whitewater kayaking pictures.

Hey, I am Sean Johnson. I first began kayaking when I was 15. I am from Davis, California and I am near the South Fork of the American river.
I never had the desire to kayak before I went to the teen leadership camp at Otter Bar Kayak School
with my family. That week changed my life forever. I am currently attending New River Academy and I am loving it.
Eli Spiegel. Blog Title: "Freestyle Kayaking"
Hi, I am Eli. I am traveling with New River Academy to China and Chile. I learned to kayak at
Otter Bar Kayak Camp in California, they instilled in me a love for kayaking that I still have today.
This love brought me to two more kayak programs one was New River Academy, and the other was the
Keener Teen Leadership Development Camp
on the Ottawa. I am paddling for Riot Kayaks
